The quality of samples taken from the well can be compromised if sediment infiltrates the well. Aqua Sleeve™ filter fabric was designed specifically to address these issues. Aqua Sleeve™ is a knitted, seamless, 100% polyester filter fabric that protects groundwater monitoring wells from clogging and sediment infiltration. Aqua Sleeve™ is pulled over the outside of the slotted well screen like a sock. Once installed, Aqua Sleeve™ prevents sand and sediment from clogging the well screen or flowing into the well.
