Our large floor-to-ceiling cages offer plenty of room for perches so we took a chance on these platform bird perches. Each type of rescue bird has enjoyed the perches. And I mean enjoyed. There was no “Ooooo, I’m scared so I’ll stay away from the colorful platform perch” interim. No, the birds flocked (excuse the pun) to the perches. Our Australian Parakeet (think bigger bright blue finch) landed on one of the platforms right away and waited for a Cheerio treat. Our regular household Parakeet took turns with the blue Cheerio monster and enjoyed the view. Meanwhile, the other two cages hosted conures who have hopped on, hung out on, and sharpened their nails on colorful platform perches. Two particular joyful conure parrots have devoured a corner of the platform which is fine as the price is nice. If the flock is happy, their bird momma is happy.This is a good product if you understand the platform is likely to be chewed on and will need to be replaced as your precious feathered friend will keep him/herself busy by merrily attacking the perch.
