It forms rosettes of bright green leaves, reaching up to 3 feet tall and wide. During mid-winter, it showcases striking bright orange-yellow buds and flowers arranged horizontally along branching racemes, resembling the rungs of a ladder, inspiring its cultivar name. This unique flowering pattern adds to its ornamental value, particularly after winter storms when rainwater collects at the tips of its flower buds. Jacob’s Ladder Aloe features large succulent sword-like leaves with an olive green color, often tinged with brick red, and produces dainty racemes of orange tubular flowers with yellow overtones in mid-winter to early spring. It is a relatively low-maintenance herbaceous evergreen perennial, deer-resistant, and suitable for various landscape applications such as accents, mass plantings, rock/alpine gardens, and container planting. It thrives in full sunlight and well-drained soil, adapting well to dry to average moisture levels and sandy soils, making it ideal for low-water gardens or xeriscapes. Despite its cultivated variety status, propagation through division is possible, allowing for its widespread cultivation in outdoor containers and various landscape settings. This plant has been grown in a 3ga pot. Cost: $25 Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on orders over $30. Please check the free - shipping eligibility at checkout.
